Privacy Policy

What Keikiban collects when you visit, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Keikiban operates www.keikiban.jp. For any question about your personal information, write to info@keikiban.jp.

When you visit

To understand how the site is used, we record one entry per visit: when it began and ended (in UTC) and how long you were active; your approximate location (country, region, city) and internet service provider, worked out from your IP address; whether the connection appears to come through a VPN or proxy; your type of device, operating system and browser, with their versions; the website or campaign that sent you; the pages and sections you viewed; the language you were shown; and interactions such as opening a category or a company's website. Your IP address is shortened before it is stored.

When you join the club

Your first name, last name and email address, the category you are interested in if you choose one, the language you used, and your consent.

Why we use it

To show the site in your language; to stay in touch with the people who joined the club, on the basis of their consent; and to improve the site, on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing which parts work. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal information.

Who else is involved

Records are stored in Google Cloud Firestore (Google LLC). To work out an approximate location, the IP address alone is sent to an IP-intelligence service such as ipapi.is, proxycheck.io, ipinfo.io, ipwho.is or ipapi.co. When you open a company's website, that company receives your visit directly, under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Visit records are kept for twelve months. Sign-ups are kept until you ask us to remove them, or for twenty-four months after our last contact.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to its use, or withdraw your consent. Write to info@keikiban.jp; we reply within thirty days. You may also complain to your data-protection authority.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
